Pricing

At the end of the day, all anybody really wants is some kind of price to help compare other quotes, or to help budget for an upcoming project.  While we are happy to come out to your home and discuss design ideas and take measurements, we also want to save you time and give you a pricing idea right here.  That starts with accurate measurements.

How To Measure

We give ballpark pricing based on the total linear feet of cabinetry.  So if you have new architectural drawings with cabinets shown on the plans, add up the total linear feet of both base and upper cabinets.  For example, if you have a run of base cabinets that are 7'6" into a corner, and then from that corner the run goes 11', you would have 18.5' of base cabinets.  Let's say you have upper cabinets above the L-shaped base cabinet run, but they are on one wall and are only 4'.  Your linear feet of cabinetry around the perimeter of the kitchen would be 22.5'.  Because this is a ballpark price, we don't worry about the corners getting counted twice.

Islands can be a little deceiving to measure.  All you need to watch out for is if you have cabinetry on one side or both sides of the island.  If you have cabinetry on both sides, measure the length of the island and multiply it by two.  Of course, if you only have cabinets on one side of the island, you won't need to double the measurement.  For example, if you have an island that is 8'3" and you have cabinets on both sides of the island, your island linear feet would be 16.5' (8.25+8.25).

So if we assume that the numbers above are pulled from your plans, your total linear feet would be 39'.  Now that we have that figure, we can move on to what you really want to know!

Price Per Linear Foot: $550

A couple quick notes before we crunch the numbers.  First off, this price is a BALLPARK figure to help with your budgeting.  It does account for our team installing the cabinets, and does NOT include any paint or stain.  It also assumes paint grade shaker style cabinetry, with solid maple soft close drawer boxes.  So be sure to keep that in mind while you budget your project.  Now, onto the fun!

The calculation is extremely simple.  Take your total linear feet and multiply it by $550.  Doing so gives you a ballpark price of $21,450.  If you have a fairly even mix of upper and lower cabinets, this number will be pretty close to the real deal.  If you want stain grade cabinets, raised panel doors, tons of drawers, etc., the price will likely be higher than the ballpark price.

Because each kitchen is unique, and each homeowner prioritizes different features in the kitchen, we need to look at each project individually to get the most accurate price for you.  That said, the ballpark price will be pretty close.  Upper cabinets are generally cheaper to produce than lower cabinets, so if your project involves more uppers, the price may be lower than the ballpark price.

At the end of the day, there are so many ways to customize cabinets that it makes it difficult to give a quick, perfectly accurate price.  We put a lot of time and effort into your quote and we want to make sure we aren't wasting your time.

Pricing Alternatives

If custom cabinets aren't for you, we offer other solutions!  We have partnered with a couple of semi-custom cabinet manufacturers which allow us to serve a wider market.  These cabinets aren't as customizable and are limited in what sizes and styles are available.  Plan on $385/linear foot as a good ballpark number for semi-custom cabinetry.  One of the cabinet lines we provide is Mantra.  Feel free to look around their website for colors and options that are available: Industry Leading Assembled Kitchen Cabinets - Mantra Cabinets

If you want to play around with different options and see where the price lands, give the calculator below a try.  We've tried to include options to hopefully refine the pricing for you, but again, these are ballpark numbers and are for reference only.  They are not to be considered a final price.  As stated above, there are far too many variables that influence the final price, and we need to see your home in person to generate an accurate quote.
